The Pockets DVDs motivate children to acquire and extend the English they are learning in English class. Three familiar fairy tales - "The Little Red Hen" (Level 1), "Little Red Riding Hood" (Level 2), and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" (Level 3) - are presented by friendly, lovable puppets. The fairy tales present and reinforce new language in a different visual context. Each fairy tale is introduced by Bob Friendly, a funny, likeable host. Bob also interviews one of the characters after each fairy tale.

DVD Guides with story summaries, key vocabulary, language objective, teaching suggestions, and scripts accompany the fairy tales and provide interesting and thought-provoking activities to use before, during, and after viewing each fairy tale.
