TDI Introduction
Teacher Development Interactive (TDI) is a video-based, online teacher development program that gives new teachers and teachers looking for a refresher a really strong foundation in teaching methodology. Each online module focuses on a different teaching skill and is taught by the leading expert in that particular field. So teachers using TDI are getting taught by the very best. Teachers can choose to work on a specific skill such as how to teach reading or how to teach writing. Because TDI is online, teachers can complete each module in their own time, at their own pace from anywhere they have access to the internet. If they complete four modules of Teacher Development Interactive they receive world-recognized certification from Hunter College, City University of New York, one of the oldest and best Universities in the US.
Teacher Development Interactive (TDI)是培生朗文专门为英语教师设计研发的线上教师发展课程。现在有6个模块的课程（Speaking, Listening, Reading, Fundamentals of ELT, Preparation for the Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT), Fundamentals of Teaching Young Learners），还会继续有新的模块加入。此线上课程及其灵活，不受时间、地点的限制，每完成一个模块，即可获得相应学分。老师只要完成其中4个模块的学习，即可获得美国纽约城市大学（City University of New York）Hunter学院的First TEFL Certificate证书。每个模块的课程均由ELT界知名专家倾力打造，不仅教授坚实的教学理论基础，更有许多的教学视频片段，通过这些实践帮助老师更好地理解和消化与其对应的理论知识。中国的英语教师大多教学经验丰富，但教学理论和语言习得理论相对较弱，通过本课程的学习，老师们能够更好地从理论高度武装自己，从深层次更大地提高教学实践活动。 |
