Tops 是朗文2008年推出的最新的6级小学英语教材。这是目前最全面体现多元智能理论实际应用到教学中的一套教材，书中每个单元的结构设计都分别围绕语言、逻辑、空间、音乐、运动、自省、交际这7种智能展开（自然智能因在课堂教学中难以实现而没有特别设计到单元结构中，但在语言知识的学习中涵盖了这种智能的培养）。教材作者Rebecca York Hanlon和Jake Kimball分别在台湾和韩国从事多年英语教学，因此这套教材非常符合亚洲英语教学需要。它是一套以语法结构为中心的交际教材，既注重学生的实际应用能力，又强调扎实的基本功训练，每一单元都配以大量的练习。其中，每个级别的5篇插图阅读以及每个单元特别为培养孩子价值道德观念而设计的‘准则章节’更是其他教材无法比拟的。 |
