Backpack L1U3 Story
A Picture is worth a thousand words!
这是我在所有关于故事教学的培训中都提到的一句话。
Then, where are those a thousand words? It’s your job to find them out!
那么，那一千个藏在图片后面的词在哪里呢？这就是老师的工作了，把他们找出来！
故事不只存在于storytime这样的部分，任何有图片的地方都可以用故事来进行讲述。下面是Backpack的1级3单元的歌曲部分的故事讲述方法。
Storytelling Example: Unit 3, Level 1, Backpack

One day, it is very hot. So, Tina, Sandy and Peter go to the seaside to play. They take two big umbrellas, two pails, a small sand trowel, a ball, a chair and two sunscreens with them. Sandy also takes a big towel with her, she doesn't want to get sunburned (referring to the objects in the picture all the time).
At first they play on the beach, they play with the sand. They use the trowel to dig (TPR), and put the sand in the pails (TPR).
Then they play with the ball on the beach. They play throw and catch (TPR). They are very happy.
But it is too hot. So Tina goes into the water. It is so cool in the water. She plays with the water, she is so happy. She jumps up and down in the water (TPR). Look at her hair. Her hair is flying in the air.
Peter doesn't want to go to the sea. He wears his hat, hmmm, it is a small hat. And he buries himself in the sand, he buries his feet first, then he buries his legs, then he buries his body, then he buries his right hand and arm. Now, he only has his left arm and hand out of the sand (TPR all the time). He is waving to Sandy. "Hello, Sandy!"
Sandy looks at Peter. She sits on the chair, under the big umbrella. She wears her hat, her hat is very big. She also has the big towel on her body, and she uses a lot of sunscreen on her nose. Look at her nose, it is white.
