HHH L1U5 Story

A Picture is worth a thousand words!
Then, where are those a thousand words? It's our job to find them out!

Storytelling Example: Unit 5, Level 1, Hip Hip Hooray!
By Kitty Zhang (张林)

In Unit 4, Sam asks Sally to come out and he wants to show Sally around the country. So, Sally and Sam walk out of Sam’s house.
Can you see the cat? (Ss: Yes.)
Where is he? (Ss: ....)
Yes, he is hiding behind a bush.
Is he happy?
He is! He is happy when he sees Sally and Sam coming out of the house. He thinks, "Now it will be easy for me to get you. Haha."
Sam and Sally are now sitting on two mushrooms in front of Sam's house. Do you want to have a mushroom chair? (Yes.)
Yes, sure. I'd like to have a mushroom chair too. It will grow higher and higher. How lovely it will be!
Sally sees something creeping across (TPR). She’s never seen such a thing. ‘What’s this?’ she asks.
‘It’s a worm.’ Answers Sam. He feels amazed because Sally doesn’t know a worm.
Then Sally feels something on her arm. She looks at her arm, and sees two small black things tiptoeing (TPR). She’s never seen such things. And suddenly, one of the black little things bites her on the arm. ‘Oh, no! What are these?’ she asks.
‘They’re ants.’ Answers Sam. Sam feels amazed because Sally doesn’t know ants.
Sally is afraid of worms and she doesn’t like ants. She wants to go back to the city. She also wants Sam to go to the city with her. She wants to show Sam around the city. So, she says, ‘Let’s go to the city!’
Sam also wants to see the city. He’s never been to the city. So, he is very happy to hear that. ‘Okay!’ he shouts.
And just then, they see a taxi coming this way.
