Overview of LWTE:
  • Hong Kong Curriculum coursebook
  • Based on research and more than 20 years’ experience in serving the primary schools
  • Brand new content to match the changing needs of teachers and pupils
 
Book structure:
  • 6 levels
  • A and B book in each level
  • 7 chapters in each book
  • Every 2 chapters are under one module
  • Final chapter is a story or a play
 
A regular chapter structure
  • Opening spread – introducing target language (new words, new sentence patterns)
  • Reading – reinforcing target language
  • Task – using language (Task + Work it out in levels 4-6)
  • Language Fun – enjoying language (songs, chants, poems, rhymes, games)
