3. A Unit Walk-through (Level, Module 5)
Language Focus: vocabulary and grammar
Task: communication
4. Features:

Strong emphasis on high-frequency vocabulary and development of personalized banks of vocabulary --- Good vocabulary develops both fluency and confidence in communication.

Regular training in word-reference skills through the use of MiniDictionary supplied at each level --- Training in the principles of word grammar and training in word reference skills help students to expand their vocabulary beyond the course book or lesson.

Discovery approach to grammar combined with more traditional grammar reference leads students to a clearer idea of how the language is used --- Students gradually gain "mastery" of the grammatical systems of the language based on both "knowledge" and practical application in real communicative situations.

Meaningful, creative tasks lead to improved confidence and fluency --- Trains students to prepare for "spontaneous" spoken production, giving them confidence to answer questions from their own knowledge and experience.
