JOB PURPOSE:

To contribute to the development of our adoption-led business by providing ELT teacher training activities of Pearson China; to provide academic and product support to the sales and marketing team.

KEY RESULT AREAS	EXTENT OF AUTHORITY	PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
Presentations at conferences, MOE presentations & Pearson Education road shows and events.	· To present a variety of academic/ non-commercial/ commercial presentations at teachers’ conferences, where appropriate, in order to reinforce promotion of Pearson products in support of marketing plans in China. · To provide feedback on product and marketing needs to marketing / sales team. · To provide content and pedagogical advice to marketing / sales team.	· Quality and delivery of teacher training presentations. Sales growth resulting from promotional activities. Customer satisfaction (teacher and sales / marketing team feedback) · Quality of feedback to marketing / sales team · Presentation skills
External Teacher Training	· To present and train teachers on a variety of Pearson products at teacher training events as arranged by ELT Sales /Marketing team. Events can be Adoption training (0.5 days – 3 days) or commercial training events.	· Quality and delivery of presentations and feedback forms from teachers attending the events.
Internal product training	· To give product training to our sales / marketing team. · To prepare web and intranet content, etc, as required, with main emphasis on items needing academic content, under the general guidance of the Line Manager.	· Knowledge of products and segments of market · Response to objectives in marketing plans · Presentation skills
General	· To collaborate in Marketing activities, as necessary, to achieve team objectives	· Flexibility · Ability to work in a team
